Salenques beech Forest
Our beech Forest in the Salenques Canyon is one of the most interesting one in the Aragonese Pyrenees, it has unique species of flora. To enter the forest we have to cross the Salenques bridge and take the path that traces the valley of the same name. It is a mixed forest where you will see how the beech is gaining ground to the wild pine, fir and black pine.
We recommend doing this tour in the autumn season to enjoy the burst of colour that occurs.
Access: from the N-230 at the height of Salenques reservoir near the town of Aneto. |
