Ribagorza: New Smart Tourism Destination
The Comarca of Ribagorza has reached a new milestone in its tourism development. Yesterday, at FITUR 2025, we received the Smart Tourism Destination distinction, a recognition awarded by Segittur that validates our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and accessibility in the tourism sector.
This distinction was presented to our president, Roque Vicente, and represents a significant step toward a more efficient, sustainable, and technologically advanced tourism model. Ribagorza is thus aligned with the principles of the Network of Smart Tourism Destinations, consolidating its position as a benchmark in the tourism of the future.
A Smart Tourism Destination is not just a title; it is an active commitment to continuous improvement in key areas:
Technology integration: Use of digital tools to optimize the visitor experience and tourism management.
Sustainability: We prioritize respect for the natural environment and the conservation of our heritage.
Accessibility: We implement measures to ensure Ribagorza is a destination for everyone.
Innovation and efficiency: We apply new management models to optimize tourism resources.
This recognition is the result of the joint efforts of administrations, businesses, and citizens who have worked to position Ribagorza as an innovative tourism destination committed to the future of the sector.
Additionally, Ribagorza is part of the Network of Smart Tourism Destinations as an adherent member, allowing us to continue advancing in the continuous improvement of our tourism offering and developing new strategies to consolidate our leadership.
