The PR-HU 247 is a spectacular circular route that runs along the head of the Turrusiana ravine, also known as the Vall de Sobrecastel, in the heart of the Cornudella valley . This trail combines history, nature, and tradition, following ancient bridle paths that, since time immemorial, have connected small villages in the municipality of Arén with strategic locations in the Sierra de Sis mountain range , such as the emblematic Coll de Vent pass.

The route begins in the village of L'Hostalet , taking a path northeast that leads to the small village of El Sas . After visiting it, return to the initial junction to continue towards the abandoned village of Soperún , a place steeped in rural history. Among its scattered houses, the path descends to the ravine of the same name, which is crossed before ascending to the Collado de El Grau pass and its pillar.

The path continues uphill to Coll de Vent , a key natural pass in the mountain range that connects with the GR 18. Both trails briefly coincide until a junction where they separate, with the PR-HU 247 joining the PR-HU 46. After passing through the abandoned village of Iscles Alto , the route veers left to continue on its own.

The route passes through the Sant Climent pier , crosses the Turrusiana ravine, and ascends towards the picturesque village of Puimolar , perched atop a hill. From there, a descent returns to the previous junction, completing the loop back to the starting point in L'Hostalet.
