The PR-HU 202 route invites you to explore old country lanes that once connected the villages of Caserras del Castillo, Antenza, Ciscar, and La Cerulla , offering an immersion into the history and nature of Ribagorza. This hiking route from Caserras del Castillo combines agricultural and forestry tracks with sections of authentic, still well-preserved bridle paths.

The route begins at the ruins of Caserras del Castillo, nestled among a rocky outcrop crowned by the remains of the medieval castle. A few meters further on, the path leads to the Font del Llugá spring , from where the trail branches off towards the Romanesque hermitage of Santa Sofía , located next to the Reboll ravine. Here, the ancient cisterns carved into the rock, known as the “Reboll reservoir,” are a highlight.

Returning to the main path, the route winds through holm oaks and gall oaks until reaching the Mas del Pilaret farmhouse , then crosses the Guart River and arrives at Antenza. From this village, a local road leads directly to Ciscar, a town that preserves examples of traditional architecture beneath the imposing Romanesque church of San Miguel.

The final stretch climbs towards the Montsec mountain range, crossing the Barranco de los Pasos ravine to reach the Quintillá farmhouse , from where there are sweeping views of the Pyrenees. A route that combines heritage, landscape, and rural tradition.
