Opposite the road turnoff towards the town center of LascuarreHeading north, this interesting route begins, leading to the Moorish towerOne of the most unique defensive structures in the Isábena Valley. The route begins among agricultural fields and gradually enters a dense pine forest. A short path leads from there, bringing you to the tower in just a few minutes. This 11th-century fortification was strategically positioned to command the valley from a commanding vantage point. Laguarres to Roda de Isábena.

The Moorish Tower has been restored and offers an excellent viewpoint for historical and scenic views. After the visit, the path continues along a forest track that crosses the pine forest and leads to the depopulated village of Mont de RodaIn this enclave, some traditional houses, remains of the cemetery and the church are still preserved, albeit in ruins, as evidence of past life in the area.

From Mont de Roda, the route continues back towards Lascuarre, crossing oak forests and passing by old farmhouses, some still in use. Along the way, you can enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding area. Isábena valley, the imposing massif of Turbón and Sis mountain rangeelements that enrich the experience.

The final stretch descends gently along a track to Lascuarre, through landscapes of Mediterranean scrubland, scattered holm oaks, and agricultural fields. An ideal route to combine nature, historical heritage and rural tradition in the heart of Ribagorza.
