WHITEWATER

The turbulent waters of the Ésera, Isábena and Noguera Ribagorzana rivers, as they descend southwards, confined in ravines and gorges, are the setting for the practice of the most extreme water sports.

CALM WATERS

The main places in the region for practicing water sports in calm waters are its reservoirs: Linsoles, Barasona, Canelles and Escales.

The main attraction of these activities is being able to enjoy incomparable mountain landscapes from a unique perspective, floating in the middle of an artificial lake with transparent waters.

CANYONING

The most well-known descents are the twelve waterfalls of Liri and the Aigüeta de Barbaruens, very popular in summer for their mountain setting. Other canyons, such as Literola or the Aigüeta de Eriste, despite their spectacular nature, are reserved for experts due to their strong currents and difficulty.

FISHING

Mountain anglers will find Ribagorza a unique fishing haven. The high environmental quality of the Pyrenean rivers makes salmonid fishing, primarily for brown and rainbow trout, its main attraction.

As in the rest of the Aragonese regions, to fish in Ribagorza it is necessary to have a federation license.
