New Grants for the Improvement of Tourist Infrastructure in Ribagorza

Today we presented the new public calls for grant applications within the Ribagorza Tourism Sustainability Plan (PSTD) , with the aim of continuing to promote more accessible, sustainable and high-quality tourism in our region.

€275.000 for Accessibility in Parking and Rest Areas

This grant program focuses on improving tourism infrastructure , ensuring more accessible spaces and optimizing the management of tourist flows. The total investment amounts to €275.000 , earmarked for improving parking and rest areas to make them more inclusive and efficient.

Objective: Improve the quality of tourist infrastructure with a comprehensive approach to accessibility, sustainability and management of tourist flows.
Deadline for application: From March 3 to March 31, 2025.

If you are a town council or entity interested in improving the infrastructure of your municipality, this is a unique opportunity to add value to the tourist experience in Ribagorza!

Balance of Completed Grants

During the presentation, an overview was also given of the recently completed grant calls, which focused on:

✔️ Tourism entrepreneurship, promoting the creation of new projects that strengthen the tourism offer of Ribagorza.
✔️ Sustainable management of museum spaces and visitor reception centersguaranteeing its maintenance and adaptation to sustainability and efficiency criteria.

An Event with Key Voices from Tourism in Ribagorza

The presentation of the new calls for proposals included the participation of:

Noemí Domenech, Tourism Councillor of the Ribagorza Region.
Mariona Domenech, Coordinator of the Tourism Sustainability Plan in Destination.
José Luis López Tourism Technician for the Ribagorza Region.

His intervention has been key in explaining the details of the aid and the positive impact that these initiatives have on the tourism development of our region.
