This season offers us a different and ever-changing view of the region's natural landscape. The beech forests that unfold on the cool, damp northern slopes of the mountains are filled with shades of brown at a unique time of year.

They can be admired in the protected natural areas of Sierra Ferrera, Sierra de Chia, Selvaplana in the Sierra de Sis, or the Estós and Salenques Valleys in the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park. The GR-11, north of the town of Aneto, allows you to descend along the Salenques River, which is bordered by endless beech forests.
