Monkayo ​​Jazz Band concert. Saturday, October 31. Salamero Theatre. 20 pm

The heart and soul of Monkayo ​​is its bassist, Chus Fernández, one of the great jazz musicians and composers in Aragon. The quintet relies on study, teaching, and enjoyment to make their music accessible to all audiences. In this first concert in Graus, they will perform a repertoire dominated by original compositions, some of which are still unreleased.

Arzz Collective is from Aragon and it's jazz. Aragonese musicians already known in Graus, such as trumpeter Álvaro Ocón and pianist Alejandro Esperanza, lead this new group that wants to pay tribute to the hard bop style, or 'Blue Note' sound, an energetic and vibrant music performed with great skill by these young musicians.

Gradus Jazz concert. Saturday, November 28. Salamero Theatre. 7:30 p.m.

Three musical virtuosos, the Lleida brothers, bolstered by the charismatic saxophonist Fernando Lleyda and the extraordinary voice of Terela Gradín, are kicking off a new jazz festival in Graus. Their show, Wonderful Moments, will take us on a journey from classic film scores to jazz standards and fusions with folk music.
